Zheleznogorsk, Russia: Kursk Root Icon brought to Holy Trinity Cathedral

On Friday, October 4, the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign" was brought to Holy Trinity Diocesan Cathedral in Zheleznogorsk, Russia.

Bishop Benjamin of Zheleznogorsk & Lgov celebrated the festal Divine Liturgy, co-served by Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan.

After Holy Communion and the dismissal, Bishop Benjamin addressed the faithful with an archpastoral sermon.

Later in the day, Bishop Benjamin, Bishop Nicholas, and Bishop Pitirim of Zvenigorod proceeded to bless a new monument dedicated to the Holy Hierarch Luke (Voino-Yasenetsky) of Crimea at the hierarchal metochion in Zheleznogorsk.
